Investors

iSyndica has so far received $400K of angel funding as part of its series A. The two lead angels, Jayesh Parekh and Greg Blackwood, are experienced venture investors and we are very happy to have them on board.

Jayesh Parekh

Jayesh Parekh is an active angel investor, with investments in major venture capital funds in Silicon Valley and start-up enterprises across the broad technology space. Prior to those ventures, he founded Sony Entertainment Television, a major cable and satellite television network launched in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment, a division of Sony Corporation of Japan. He is also a founder and board director of Asvathaa and MobiApps, and was recently appointed as a board director and an investment committee member of SONG, a social impact India fund of Soros, Omidyar, and Google.

Greg Blackwood

Greg Blackwood has 15 years of experience in direct investing and entrepreneurial ventures in Asia and Europe. After beginning his career in banking in the United States, Mr. Blackwood worked with a private equity advisory firm in France that offered investment sourcing, structuring and execution to boutique investors in Europe. From 2000 to 2008, he was based in Singapore and Beijing. During that time he managed the Asian direct investment operations of a US-based family office, with a brief hiatus from 2004 to 2006 when he led a corporate mergers and acquisitions team in Tokyo for UPS Japan. In 2008 Mr. Blackwood joined Mitsui & Co.'s Singapore regional headquarters as Senior Investment Manager in charge of direct and indirect investments across the Asia-Pacific region.
